Comag/SilverCrest Good all-round receivers, some of which are 'patchable'

Default Comag SL100HD

Hi guys,

I bought one of these el cheapo' to get a few of the HD channels yesterday, I have a diablo with latest U/W, the picture on Canal+ Sport & Film (1w) is outstanding really fantastic considering how cheap this box is. Anyway I had a play with the channel editor that comag.de recommends to try and add ITV HD (using settings I found on recommended sites), well what a cock-up that turned out to be whatever channel list I uploaded back to the receiver completely feck'd the box up, it lost all Satellites & transponders, it lost all ability to re-upload the original channel list and even a system re-set to factory settings wouldn't bring back satellites or transponders, even when manually entering them it couldn't save anything.

Anyway, I took this back to the shop and they have given me another box and I don't really want to feck this one up...lol
It's a slightly obscure receiver I know, but does anyone know if it is possible to get ITV HD or will I have to hound someone at comag to try and get new firmware (It does have settings for 4:4:4 and 4:2:2)

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Default Re: Comag SL100HD

Not sure if this will help but on my Panasonic HDsat tv ITV is not a standalone channel but is accessed by pressing a coloured button from the normal ITV channel. It may work the same for the Comag HD .The option only appears when ITV (rarely) simulcast in HD. Alternatively it may be possible to manually add the transponder and frequency (sorry don't know the values for this) a bit like we have done for Premiere previously.

Regards
