tools needed for unlocking 250 modem

Hello there peeps
I have been reading a lot of the threads and need confirmation on a few things if possible. i know im new and asking questions already lol but just need to clarify what tools are needed if any, i hear a cable is required and some programme and i hear a lot of talk of flashing? does flashing mean it is speeded up from 2meg to 20 meg? or have i gotta go out and buy a raincoat pmsl no seriously i have some files but would like to get a basic idea of what i need i dont want to many files

flashing means putting some new firmware on it.

Don't mess with your subbed modem though mate get a spare.

You will need an rs232 lead if you wana do it the best way.

so you flash new haxor firmware to modem, change a mac, and away you go.......


still need to do some reading though mate.
