Default The Box Super Flashed but still Problems!

Hiya,
I've flashed a friends box "The Box Super" with GtRomSuper 8.04e but I'm running into problems, when I connect it up to the tv it displays no signal message also I can't get into the tv/radio menu. I've enabled Emu & the default key etc... But still no joy. When doing a scan I receive No Channels so I'm presuming it defo has smething to do with the No Signal message (It's all connected up properly!) Has anyone run into these problems before? I've flashed a good few of these boxes before the Christmas but never had a Problem like this! Any help Greatfully appreciated!

Hi BigFella,
Thanks for the responce much appreciated! I've tried flashing it a few times already. System Info 8.04E, so it did take the flash, My cable feed is ok because I'm running my own eurovox on there, No problems! I'm just stuck at this language menu?? Ive enabled the default key etc... I'm feel kinda lost now! I cant get on to the TV/Radio menu at all! Should I flash it with a different version? If so what one? I'm going to try and see if I can get the channels manually entering the keys see what happens then.. Anymore help is Greatly welcome!

Edit- What's actually puzzling me too is there is no Level or Quality/Signal?

Hi Jonpc,
Thanks for the reply! Yeah all the leads are in the correct place, I hope, lol! I know it's different to the EV & that the scart lead goes into the bottom, Ive tried the cable feed into 2 different places (dunno the exact name).. There is no signal level when I go to do a manual scan? I hope it is just something simple! Any help!

This happened to me last night, No signal, so reflashed and autoscaned and all fta channels were on, I enabled emu and still no scrambled chanells.
so I then looked at the keys and they were not updated so I got the latest keys for my area and then entered them in manually and all back on, so don't know why it didn't autoupdate the last keyroll.
This is the problem you have, so put keys in manually.

If your getting no signal at all but the feed is definatly fine (and working with another box) you may have to concede that the box may have a fault. (was it working before the flash with keys manually input?)

A different version you asked for would be GTRom_Super_8.02e

Hi all,
Thanks for the help guys! The box went down before the Christmas & I manually inputted the channels for my friend until I had the time to flash it, but the guy who owns the box says he was trying to get his video working etc..so he unplugged the box (I really dunno what he did!) and couldn't get it working again! When I seen it (after he broke it) it had No signal display in his place so I thought Id see if it would work in my house Because I've 2 EV 1 upstairs & the other downstairs No problems! I flashed these myself just after they went down. How do I concede the box? Thanks again for all the help!

by concede i think he means u might have to admit the box has a fault and it s not something u r doin wrong while flashin for example.....have u selected the correct cable provider for example nt l or telewest or chorus...........im not tryin to be funny but try turnin off n on a cple of times at the back of box and try a a factory reset. choose english... choose local povider..autoscanturn emu on and default

Hi Bigfella,
Yeah I've tried a factory reset also, I'm just stuck on the language menu now, I cant even access Parential settings or Edit Channels, I chose the correct symbol rate, Provider etc.. Enabled Emu etc.. When I try a Manual Scan, I choose all the correct settings But to me it's a mystery as to why it has No signal,or Quality!? Whatever the guy did when he was trying to set up his video that day that has to have something to do with it! When I'm in the Installation menu under where it has Pal etc.. does anyone know which one it should be on?? Or else maybe the box does have a fault! It's a bit of a puzzel alright. I'll hold on to it for a few more days & see what I can do for him anyway, If I don't get it to work before the weekend I might bring it to a friend of mine in the market & flash it off one of his boxes. maybe that will work. In the meantime I'll keep experimenting on it, lol! It's always just one box that seems to cause trouble innit!? I mean you could do a hundred no problem but there's always one that'll cause you trouble! I also tried the hard Flash, still No joy!
