Default Problems Flashing an EV2 into a Blue Box

About 2 months ago I posted on this forum with problems flashing an EV2 into a Blue box. After viewing many forums I finally came up with the answer but have not got my box up and running but 80% there or its a brick.
The problem was I could use the Jtag bought from TMC and comunicate with my box and even read the program from it but I could not erase or write to it. Until i read the following which tells you how to unlock each sector of your processor and the hey presto erased fully and blue tsop written in full. Here it is:-
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
3- Attach the JTAG dongle to your computer’s parallel port.and Power up your receiver.
4- Open Wall.exe file.
5. Click OK through the warning "The ID code is incorrect" and ignore the message.
6. Click "Reset up" button for three times. After each, click OK through the ID warning box.
7. Leave Wall.exe but open on your Windows desktop.
8.Run JKeys and select "IRD model"
9. Click on "Flash Programming".
10. jKeys should recognize the flash type, and open the Programming Panel. If you get an error box about the Mfg or Device ID, then something is wrong. Verify the jKeys.def file is the one
11. You can erase and program ur flash now. When you finish programming , power-down ur STB and remove all connection cable.
Don't forget to Reset factory.

"HOW TO UNLOCK BOTH HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE LOCK FLASH"
Intel : TE28F400C3, 28F800C3, 28F160C3, 28F320C3
ST : M28W800CB , M28W800CT, M28W160CB , M28W160CT
PROCEDURE

same as above until step 8
9. This step sends a command to the processor (Omega) chip to make it cooperate with us and enable flashing.
Click "Development Panel" and Ignore the instructions in the box and click OK.
10. On the left side of "Development Panel" enter Address: 2000E020 (all ‘0’s are zeros)
Data: 01 then Click on "Write Byte"
11. This step “unlocks” the special locking feature of the Listed flash chips.
For example if you want to unlock sector 0 SA0 At the address 7FE00000 you must do the following steps:
With the Development Panel still open enter:
Address: 7FE00000 (all ‘0’s are zeros)
Data: 60 (six-zero) Click Write Byte
Data: D0 (‘D’-zero) Click Write Byte
Data: FF Click Write Byte
now SA0 unlocked
if you need to unlock all sectors you must repeat Step 11 for each sector with its Starting address.
12.Close Development Panel
13.Click "Flash programming" and complete the other steps.
Don't forget to Reset factory.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

After i had erased each sector (pain the arse) I was able to erase fully put on the blue tsop. then put on firmware with rs232. Now I have menu, lights back on front etc etc etc and I thought all my dreams had come true. But now when I come to power scan i get % bars going green but no channels. It is not the connection because I have an ex5000 and that is ok. Anybody any idears shame to throw all my hardwork away.

Hi
Yeah it would be a shame to waste all that time & effort that you put in. It's just like a new box now! You say you can see the %Bars green? So it's picking up the signal.. Are you definitely sure that you have your Provider Id, Symbol rate etc entered in properly? It's most likely something small, hopefully! Have u enabled the emu key etc..? Just trying to throw a few idea's your way... Let us know how u get on.
