Default 4010 in c&W will it work??

hi guys i have just aquired a 4001 box but as i live in a c&w area it is useless to me. i do however have a friend who lives in a pure area and is willing to swap my 4001 for a 4010 will a 4010 work in a c&w area??

if you manage to get it on 3.6 you might have a chance. if on any earlier ver , no, or if you do, aux dec will be stuck on

You can get it to work on the older versios, i have one working on CR2 software, but as said above on the movie channels adio description is on and i cant turn it off

bugger i picked the box up last night and changed the net id using a fun. that went ok default frequency and symbol rate are all correct yet as soon as i plug the feed in the box just keeps rebooting and chaqnging its own net id to a few digits above or below my net id constantly. the box is on 3.6 software and i am confused. any suggestions please guys.
