starview 1 clone problem

Hi 1st post and boy what a good un'

I have a starview 1 clone go on have a good laugh lol iI flashed the box with clonesafe software and now the remote does not respond and also the display screen reads "on" the screen on the tv shows the language screen and I can move the highlighter onto the various languages (with the buttons on the box) but cannot select anything! Can anyone please help me???

You now need to do an automatic scan on your service provider, when completed press menu 1570 turn on emu then go to a ppv channel wait for au

thanks larry but I cant do that! the remote control dosent seem to work with the box anymore but it works at my parents house! I cannot get off the language page because I cant select anything from the remote control anymore!

Can you press ok on language screen, if so you need to select english then do auto scan, did you say the remote would let you scroll down the language screen

No mate the remote wont let me do anything (but it works on other starview) so its ok in that it works! But my box cant see it for some reason and I cant get off the language screen to do the scan,
Is it possible to do a factory reset without going into the menu would that help??? Really guessing because ive got our lass nagging now thats all I bloody need lol

try reflashing the box
you could also try going back to the previous firmware

monkeyhinger it sounds like you have put wrong firmware on it mate what did you use to and put on it. ie gt rom v4.00, loader cryptstar v1.5 core 257 firmware?

Thanks lads for the info but I had to take a job away for a few days! she still nagged on the phone lol going to have a go at fixing it this morning,
