I have a TT-1501 working with VMC using the dvbviewer->vplug->dvbsbridge route. I have installed TV Pack and also have my dual tuner analogue card working alongside it sharing a fully populated 14day EPG. Everything working perfectly so far. Fingers crossed.
I haven’t used the new drivers, i use the BDA Drivers that came with the card. It was a pain to set up, took about 3 weeks on and off. D |

Well, DVBLink is out which replaces DVBSBridge.
From what I can work it, it creates a Virtual Satellite Tuner in VMC and you can now have multiple tuners. Not tried it myself, but interested to see results www.dvblogic.com |

HI Cafe.Rcaer
I've been using DVBLink for DVBDream on Windows7 RC for the past week or so, it has been a lot more stable than my previous setup (vista x64 MC with DVBSBridge). DVBLink has a much better integration with 7MC and there is a epg mapper plugin that works quite well - allows you to choose which Microsoft EPG you want to map your channels to. If it carries on as well as it is, I'd be well prepared to shell out for the full product.... @Penno - I may have caught the wrong end of the stick from your question but just to clarify, DvbLink on it's own wont give you all the channels - it needs a source program with the softcam installed on it eg something like DVBDream with Vplug, or DVBViewer with Vplug etc. EDIT - I guess I'd best change my signature too

Hi - so it definitely pretends to be a DVB-S tuner, one DVBLink tuner for each physical tuner? So you can have 2xDVB-C and 2xDVB-T in Premium?
Might be possible to have 4xDVB-C then, 2xDVBLink and 2xPretend DVB-T... I was thinking I might try it tonight with one of my FDTVs, but I don't think I can have one installed with the non-MCE drivers and the other with the MCE drivers. Maybe time to dual boot, or at least take an image. Actually, thinking about it, it should be possible to set up DVBViewer with the FDTV MCE Drivers... |

Yes definitely shows up as DVBS tuner, afraid I'm not too hot on what the tuner limits are in MC so will have to take your word for it! (7MC is very nice though)
PS - if you don't mind me asking why do you need that many tuners!? Is there that much tv to watch

Well with all this talk of dvbsbridge success I decided to give it a whirl. After about 12 hours of wrestling with it i finaly got it working. Pretty stable aswell, even on my crappy pc. (P4 3ghz, 1 gig, tt-1501)

Anyway, the main reason is that I have two MCE boxes, and I wouldn't mind putting the other one on cable, and ideally I'd want to mix tuners. Can someone confirm that it's now called the "Terratec Cinergy C" or "KNC One"? Last edited by Cafe.Rcaer; 14-05-09 at 12:11 PM. |

I first have to admit I am a newby.
But I am going to order the TT 1501c Budget to install into my Vista x64 -nVidia n430, Athalon 64x2, VideoMate T750Vista. VMC + 2008 TV Pack system. Would anyone care to say witch of the dvbviewer->vplug->dvbsbridge pro; or dvbdeam->vplug->dvblink software combos is better? Bering mind I am running a x64 based system. Thanks! |
