Default Virgin TV

1st of all Hi to all, New here.

I have just got Virgin installed! I used to have Sky and could run a cable from an RF Socket on the box to my TV in the bedroom! I asked the engr can i do that he says yes! When i went to do it no RF Socket!! Could anyone advise me on a method to achieve this?

Many thanks.

We can't tell you how to do this if you don't tell us what box you are using?

look at the label on the back on the box, or sometimes on the underneath, it should have a model number on it

Was this just to get freeview in your bedroom mate bbc1,bb2,itv ect ?
Just split the feed using a splitter, run one cable to the box & the other cable to your bedroom tele. You will pick up some channels this way as long as analogue is still on in your area. To see if analogue is still on in your area you need to put the cable wire straight in the back of your tele & tune to see if it picks anything up.

if you have a v+hd box (sa8300) and you are connected through the hdmi lead or componant leed then the rf socket will not work.
