taken from another forum....
50 meg has been released seems like 2 meg is only speed to be allowed on normal freqs. (330 and 586) 10 and 20 now on doc2 freqs with the 50, this is a load of freqs around 200-400mhz New frequencies are: 298750000 306750000 314750000 322750000 Server is now DYNAMIC CONFIG only. no use of forcing it seems New system gives .virginmedia.com hostname old system gives ntl.com hostname |

Be interested to see what the experts say though....as if you say your mates still on 20 meg and a surfboard, and he can still get on line and he don't live that far away from you then it'll be interesting to see what the score is.
i mean when i was looking at yours your frequency was all of the new ones...that's what done my head in until i read the above....any way...lets see the pro's have to say about it. Last edited by mowax; 06-02-09 at 12:30 AM. |

right then. 10meg is on old sytem still
and it is possible on haxorware it seems to run it on 20 forced on old tftp and frequencies it seems also tht it is still docsis 1.0/1.1 as haxorware says its a doc1.0 config. it seems very likely that vm will soon roll 20mbit to doc2 on the new system |

I would say instructions for setting up are:
1) Set default freq to one of the above 2) insert 20mbit mac 3) set serial to mac 4) done:P Thing is this will knacker a few traders in these things, if i were u traders wait abit to see where it settles. else youll have your phones ringing off the hook "my interent is off" |
