I have bricked my 3rd modem when trying to get the p option on my ambit 255. I use console unlocker then move onto softjtag begin to write the bootloader which it does for about a minute then I get the dreaded blue restart screen. I've tried this with all 3 softjtag applications and it still happens.

Does anyone know why this happens and how I can get past it?

id use another pc, remember, i offer unbricking... lol.

Yeah think I might give it ago on another computer. But its a pain in the ass.
You will probably be getting a couple of modems off me soon. Lol.
