I have been trying to load the stupid software for this lead all day god!! I got a disc with it its not loading. I have took the software off the disc set it up on the laptop the put the usb n tried to find it by browsing on the computer failed again. I have also been on digital kaos and clicked the link download the software off the net in oh god still not working.

Just need this stupid cable set u to the latop so I can go on and flash my box aaaaahhhhhhh.

Any idea's?? Also there is three files on TCB.cc for the eurovox 2006 blue a don't have a clue which one I choose all seem dated the same??

Thanks for your help guys this has been my last resort

Have a read of this tut by satsmo Starview 3 - Setup Tutorial these converter cables are a right pain in the arse....as youve found lol

You want the 01/12/08 blue box firmware

I have found that they sometimes work better if you don't change the USB port you plug them into and if it fails to open a serial connection, unplug the usb cable and put it back in again.

For anyone with a pc without rs232 check this link
1x Parallel 2x Serial Port PCI Card - Aria Technology
Should save you the PITA of USB to rs232. Only a couple of quid more than a usb to rs232 cable.

i need help !!!!!
bought a null modem cable to flash my box, downloaded software to pc, then my computer crashed.........moved onto the laptop, bought a usb - serial adaptor from amazon but came with no driver. tried downloading driver from internet but cant seem to be able to get one.do i need make of adaptor because it doesn't tell me on the cable?

any help appreciated
