Default Eurovox Max Blue Stuck in Stanby

Need some advice, please folks

for some time the led panel on my eurovox has been playing up
channel numbers not fully showing on the panel

not sure if this is connected but now the machine has gone off all together
have done the old trick of turning if off at the mains & unplugging it for 15 seconds

the only thing I have got now is the red stand by light is now on ( suppose its a start)
this has been like this for the last half hour

can any one shed any light or offer any assistance

thanks in advance

Check your capacitors on your power board particulary at C14.

ok buy a replacement power board ,I get mine from Alex at awsatellites.co.uk, because they are quailty but you can buy a cheaper one on fleabay but be warned not all are as good !.
when you get the board open up the eurovox(power off !) you will see the board.
disconnect the lead that goes to the main board, disconnect the two pin power connection(may be glued so take care.
remove the 4 screws and take the board out.

put the new board in make sure you have connected the leads.
power on and hopefully you are back in business !
if you are competent do as smurf says and replace C14 capacitor if not do above
