Need some advice, please folks
for some time the led panel on my eurovox has been playing up channel numbers not fully showing on the panel not sure if this is connected but now the machine has gone off all together have done the old trick of turning if off at the mains & unplugging it for 15 seconds the only thing I have got now is the red stand by light is now on ( suppose its a start) this has been like this for the last half hour can any one shed any light or offer any assistance thanks in advance Last edited by bignred563; 07-02-09 at 01:38 PM. I am having the same problem with my max v box! all three lights on the front are lit, Red = standby green = lock orange = message and the display panel is all gobbledegook!!
any ideas anyone?Max. |

After trying the power off trick with no success, i pulled the vm feed cable for a couple of mins as well as power, and hey presto
all back to normal must have got its knickers in a twist.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() driving me mental still not working, have tried various attempts turned off at mains, turned off at mains for set time (from 5 mins to 2 hours) have pulled the vm feed out of the back same as above for 5 mins etc have unplugged from the mains for 15+ seconds to 5 mins still no joy any other advice really appreciated |

have you tried another power board inside the box sounds like thats the problem to me because i had a similar prob like this and changed the power board and all was sorted !

ok buy a replacement power board ,I get mine from Alex at awsatellites.co.uk, because they are quailty but you can buy a cheaper one on fleabay but be warned not all are as good !.
when you get the board open up the eurovox(power off !) you will see the board. disconnect the lead that goes to the main board, disconnect the two pin power connection(may be glued so take care. remove the 4 screws and take the board out. put the new board in make sure you have connected the leads. power on and hopefully you are back in business ! if you are competent do as smurf says and replace C14 capacitor if not do above |
