Hi guys im doing a 2100c too and iv been messing with it for day. iv tried the following methods:
1.holding down on ld 20 till hits 52 without feed get disconected cable or cant put into background mode. 2. going into eng menu still no luck although i got it connected twice in this mode and failed to get numbers got 000020000 due to bytes not entered yea thats my luck and now it jus says that background error Im running 3_6V_04 in Oldham area on NTL if anyone can get me the bytes pls im newbie. anyone got anysuggestion for the jtag problem did try to do it with feed in and let load channels but no luck just get background error with bke and sdt and ocd pls some1 help me plzim running mot driver too |

everything out first and make sure u have the right bytes for 3.6(mine was 0x00895934)
1= connect cable feed 2= connect the JTAG or hold them making sure u push hard 3= power up the box while holdin the up and down buttons and hold it till u see LD:14 then let go. 4= wait till it goes to (SND or 5ND which eveer way it looks) 5= now start BKE2.2 and make sure MAC MOT is running at the back 6= choose ur model and click connect. lol i accidently snappd pin on pogo for gnd will it not work now
if not do i hav to solder if yes whats best way to get wire stuck to point without comin off again |

there is more than 1 ground on the jtag points..........if you have fooooked up solder to the underneath of the board instead

iv tried to solder on top mothereboard but wires wont stay on points they lift off with solder on.
Is it easier to solder underneath the board or is their an easier way and what can i use to clean the points they kinda goin grey and look dirty iv jus ordered a plug and play simm to get numbers off 1000 phase 1b jus incase i can't do this |

if your not any good at soldiering then i sugest you get yourself another pogo and try again just make sure the pins are sat firm on the pads to get a command off the box.
