Hi, i usually recieve these satellites, but a few weeks ago, i had to move from 13E to Astra 19E to make the signal on 16E work as it did before. (if i just went from 13E to 16E it wouldnt work - no signal). But now if even 19E isnt working any more and neither is 16E i dont know why. 1W and Hotbird 13E seem to be woroking thank God, but last week i experienced some signal problems with 13E as well.
Anyone know what i can do to fix the problem?? Thanks alot

Do you have a 'go to X (or zero) option. Try doing that if you do. It sends your motor back to it's reference point. If not you may have to nudge to you due south sat and store your sat positions again. Usals is quickest and easiest method.

All the 'go to x' does is send the motor back to it's reference point and then tell it that it is at zero. It is useful if the motor has screwed up and lost its position.
This command does not affect any of your stored positions or receiver settings. Yorks

Hi sigooner,
I notice in your profile that you have an Echostar receiver but I am not familiar with the model number, can you please describe the menu, or post some pictures. Can you also please post more details regarding your motor. If you go into the receivers menu do you have a hammer symbol? |
