Hi, I have a Ambit 255 modem with Infinite firmware bought from ebay. Recently I have been having a problem with connecting the modem to the internet and think it may be bricked. Only the power and enet lights come on. When I tried to use ambitconfig0.97 I get a TCP connection failure error. Is my modem bricked? Do I need to reflash? Thamks

just ethernet & power lights sounds like its bricked m8 have u tried connecting it up in hyperterminal to see if u get anything?

Have you tried to see if you can get into the modem thru 192.168.100.1

I don't see why it should be bricked, main reason for bricking is f00ked bootloader, if you've not messed with it or tried a 2Mb dump, you should be fine.

Need more details though mate.
