hyper terminal would have showed you stuff as it was writing to the modem. then when it had finished it would have showed you "do you want to store paramters to flash" you select [n]

yes and no......

what option have you selected there ? Option G? you can only use RC6 not rc3

you can not upload haxor using any other version than rc6 via the gui!! from memory.....

press n to that.....



i can send you rc6 if you want it

no worries, but you nearly made a massive mistake and bricked your modem.... as stated earlier the safest way to flash is

use rc6 ONLY.
Flash and run from memory.
Open IE 192.168.100.1
haxor page will load
click firmwareupgrade
load haxor rc6 and load it.

not 3 or 4 or 5 or ambit full flash and all that......

so when i connect to hyperterm flash and run from memory which is option g enter 192.168.100.10 when it asks for ip and enter the rc6 bin file when it says so open ie 192.168.100.1 then click firmware upgrade then load haxor rc6 and load it btw i have sent my email in a private message to you

yes thats the way to do it mate.

how ever what way did you just flash that ambit firmware to the modem?
