I would reccommend it as it is a really good box, I am more then happy with the improved picture quality (was using a pace 2000 before) - I personally think it should be £20-30 cheaper but I could not resist buying!!!!

You can also use it as a PVR if you attach a USB harddrive, pausing live TV is great!!! Only downside is it has only one tuner so you can only watch the channel you are recording.

It also has an optical output so if you connect to your AV receiver you will notice improved sound quality.

Cheers. Apart from the box, do I need to buy anything else? A HD lead or something?

You will need a HDMI lead, no need to go for an expensive one as you wont notice much difference - make sure your telly has HDMI inputs otherwise you will not benefit much

cheap hdmi leads are pants, had loads of problems, the sockets on them are too brittle and snap easily, id go for a venom hdmi cable off ebay for £7 itll only be around 3pound more, well worth it

Soon to have Discovery HD and Eurosport in the Spring! And.... rumours of ITV HD in April - just in time for Champions League and of course World cup! Only a rumour though!

Neil.

A rumour that the Eurovox owners will not be able to substantiate unfortunately.

I have the basic Virgin package so I think when everything has finally gone completely I'm going back to Sky. Lots more HD on there.
