HI

Got a old grundig skybox today idea being to use it to keep a card alive for use in my cam.Plugged it in(no remote),switched on it just keeps saying it is not receiving a satellite signal.Never had sky so no nothing,any suggestions?I only gave bloke £2 so if it is a dud not too bothered.

Grundig = almost certainly failed power supply capacitors. (Assuming the dish is correctly aligned.)

They are notorious for it.

I agree, I have been to a few people with signal problems and I've seen about 3 or 4 faulty grundigs so far.
