Ambit 200 forgot username and pass PLZ HELP!

Hey I can remember changing the username and password about 8months ago when I first had this flashed ambit 200 modem but now I cannot remember the login and desperately need to login so I can get the modem IP and the username and password back so I can put them into the ambit config tool so it writes the settings to the modem,
Does anyone know anyway of retrieving the login?

Never mind about the username and pass but now the firmware page won't load does this mean it is bricked?

So has it been bricked because he put in the pword wrong to many times or what ? please advise as its always usefull im gonna try do some meself

Well I could not access the firmware page anyway so my guess is that VM have done something to it.

vm have not done anything "to it", they have probably done some changes to the network and you need to adjust settings for it.

try disconnecting the coax and setting your pc's nic address manually to same range as modem, also get some logs from the modem via serial.

you shouldnt have any issues getting it back up and running, right?

So still cannot get to the firmware page and I needed to get to that page so I could update the config file as they have been changed in the stoke area at least which is why I believe my modem will not connect to the net, Also keep getting the tcp connection error on the ambit config tool that's why I tried getting to the firmware page to change settings there.
I have the sigma-x2 1.28 on it.

Feb 05 is when the modem stopped working btw.

you need some serial logs, not via the webpage.

do you have a max232? because you need one.
