Hi,

As with many of us using force TFTP I am not getting anywhere with this. Having read ome other posts I understand that VM have changed their config files and the ones I am using are now redundant.

Can someone advise me on how to obtain these new configs files and then how to import/use it in Ambit Config tool.

If your from cov alot of people have been complaining about force configs not working just unforce it and use a 20 meg mac as forcing in most areas is being taken out.

I have been trying to sniff MACs from different locatiosn but can only get the rts98 one... can't seem to pick up a 22 one :-(

iv got a 20mb mac but its from my town......... it says 20mb on test, but on download i get from 512kb to 1.1mb, im using ambit, whats wrong please?

Is it safe to run DHCP sniffer while connected on your official subscribed modem?
I've heard they can detect it !!
Can they then see what MAC address is running it?

i wudnt, my flashed modems jst as good, infact i get better results with my flashed modem
