Default Looking for a step by step teacher lol

Hi ive been thinking about modding modems for a while now as i have a couple spare. Ive downloaded the haynes guide and really dont understand it lol. I learn better on a more teacher/student basis so im just wondering if theres any1 out there with the time and patience to teach me how to do it, i.e what cables i will need, what software i will need etc i think what my problem is i read these forums and theres 100 people all saying 100 different things lol so if any1 is willing to help out a fellow cheapskate who doesnt want to pay hehe please email me at deano_005@hotmail.co.uk thanks

The reason people say different things is because different method apply to different modems. Seriously it's better teaching yourself, it seems complicated now but if you read around the forums about 250's and read the haynes guide you will get it. I was in the same position as you a week and a half a go but I found everything on here.
