Hi,

I am a total newbie to this so please be gentle if I ask something stupid, your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently moved into premises with a communal satellite dish on the Roof. I also have a samsung 32" LCD TV with a CI slot.

I am intending on getting a dragon CAM and an FTV card from Sky.

Which card programmer would you recommend? Also,and most importantly, what are the possibilities of this set up?

Would I also need to get a digibox for the stay alive signal or is this not required with an FTV card?

All guidance or advise would be a massive help as there is a lot of conflicting information available.

Are you sure the CI slot is for satellite? Many of these tv's have CI slots for DTT

I think you will find the slot is for tits up tv.
