Just to double check before i do anything!
I have a motorola SB5100 surfboard modem, do I use BC to flash "write all" using firmware SB5100MoD1.0.4.Bet (949kb)
Once done remove bc and connect ethernet and cofig via 192.168.100.1:666

Is this correct?
Thanks in advance.

You only have the firmware you need to click the 5100 tab, then click program tab.

flash the sb5100mod firmware then install/flash the bootloader that came with the firmware

Once done then remove bc and connect ethernet and cofig via 192.168.100.1:666
