Which drivers are you using red? I had similar problems with the BDA drivers. The ones that work for me are the ones I put in 'downloads'

The SkyStar card comes with a lot of crap on the drivers disk that isn't required. I used the updated drivers, which seemed to install the card fine on Vista. The problem I had was receiving images. This was solved when I purchased DVBViewer Pro, which I found very good. Cost me £15, but it works well. The viewer and software bundled was very poor.

I must say a lot of the trouble is windoze thinking it knows best.

You must delete all other card drivers from system32 so that windoze cant find a driver and then you select the correct one from your download folder.

Wll Jim this post is i hope to be helpfull to others that might read it Mr stick might like to read it
I was in the s**t trying to get the pci card going and looking for advice on a of of forums at the same time i was in touch with Technisat
this is thier reply to my query
"
The SkyStar HD2 will be installed as BDA hardware, not as network adapter.
When you get the message that no hardware will be found please do the
following:

For XP :
C:\Documents and settings \All Users\apllication data\CMUV\DVBViewer TE For Vista : C:\Users\ User name \AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramData\CMUV\DVBVi ewer TE (search for this folder) If this folder will be not shown, mark the option 'show all folders'. Now delete the hardware.ini. Now make a new scan for hardware in the DVB Viewer.

Best regards
Marco Bergling

Support Team

TechniSat Digital S.A."
At the end after trying all thier tips/tricks they have now told me that the item is faulty and is to be returned to the vendor its only took me 4 days to get to this point
just hope it helps some one else
