Hey peeps found a great new 42" Toshiba LCD, is an absolute corker!

Its great for playing my ps3 on and watching my sky on!

As the machine has a resolution + feature, which in our terms well Mine(haha) ,mean it upscales standard defintion e.g. free view,standard sky digital and sky plus and dvds etc.

Its also great for as the tv is 100 Hz and that combined now makes watching Bolton win the occasional footy match

much more pleasurable than it used to be on my old LCD.

It's call the 42zv555DB, Check it out if you want an LCD that finally competes with a plasma at a 42".

umm looks like a good deal can be had on this tv only £599 in amazon

Not too bad to be honest. Better if the contrast ratio was more 30:000-1 and upwards.

Hello, I saw a couple of 100hz tv's on display in pcworld, they still looked quite bad in regards to response times. Also they had the 'lcd grainyness'

I'd opt for a plasma every time
