Default Nintendo Wii Controllers Not Working

ok i just bought a nintendo wii used from a freind with 2 nunchuk controllers. both controllers are charged but when i turn on console only 2 buttons work home and -+ on the controllers. i cant press a or any other buttons on the controller whats the problem??? help please

Did you sync the controllers up with the console? There is a small red button on the back indented into the battery, press and hold this in with a pin or something small until all 4 leds blink then one stays solid.

yeh mate thats all done but mate i dont have a sensor bar by the way do i need this for controllers to work??? get back please

yes you do m8 ebay or asda do cheap sensor bars

lol i would have thought this was obvious
you can by different sorts now tho they sell wireless ones and bigger mose sensitive ones and there pritty cheap anyway

iv heard that those wireless ones arent meant to be much good you have to be right on top of it for it to work (so iv heard) but i know Morrisons do them for £7 which is a bargain i think

I know some one with a wireless bar and he said it was ok maybe its down to make or battery used ?
