Well while I was realigning the dish (see post chav attack) I had a better go at 7w. My lnb is the invertro silvertech dual, is that the same as the twin Robbo? Got it as close to the dish as the lnb clamp allowed. I got a slight signal on the meter but not enough for the reciever to lock on to.
Guess the 1.1m is just that bit to small for even the verticals from here. Ah well atleast I had fun trying. Cheers for the assist all.

By twin I mean with two F-conectors on, i.e for two receivers, I don't know what dual means.

Oh, well, at least you tried, I take it you've had a go at 26E?

Dual & Twin LNb's are now known as the same thing....but a dual LNb is really an old fixed band H & V for multi-switches.

Yes 2 F Connectors. I've not tried for 26e yet, I hadn't really considered it, anything good on there that's worth having ?

I'll have a go tomorrow, assuming I get the time, after I get the dish back on the arc properly. According to dishpointer I should be able to get some of the TP's on a 90cm dish

Yes, you might have success, satellitemadman has 26E in the Midlands, on a Fracarro Penta I believe. The Triax 110 will outperform a Penta any day I reckon You just have to watch that you don't get too exited and pick up 28E instead.

Had a quick look earlier, I would think its probably easiest to start again from basics. Ensure pole level, and that dish is centred on pole, as those two things would cause a wonky arc if not correct.

I think that there are one or two transponders that are on 26E but not 28E, most of the others, the two satellites merge into one.
