im looking to buy a 40GB external hard drive so i can put movies on it and connected it to my ps3 with usb cable to watch them. i was wondering would 40GB work with the PS3 externaly??? someone help please

i have a 320 gig usb h/d and that works fine . i play all my dvix films like this ,

you can get a ps3 external harddrive thats 500 gig and works fine
cheap too i seen them around for about 70 quid
