Pace 4000?

Hi

I'm used to doing modems this is my first box.

I can only find a guide for 4001, now I'm assuming they're more or less the same but I thought I'd check first

No 4000 is similar to 4010, its j tag job not led simm like 4001-1000.
They are tw or ex cw boxes, ex cw have ntl on front 4000n.

Thanks, I found a guide. will my MAX232 cable be any good or do I need a jtag?

I've read two guides obe says jtag one says max232

You can use libby to set net id, but you will need j tag to get boxkey unless you have an unlooper and a paired card, you can set net id with a funcard when you have bk.

Yes powersync and phoenix are good, thats if card is paired ( it could have a false bk ) the j tag is good to, if you dont want to solder you can get a pogo type one.
