Unhappy Card problem

Hey guys, been a rough night fighting with this damn thing.

Pace 4001 box, card WAS paired. Its now apparently NOT paired, displaying as 'never paired' in technical stuff for card status.

This card was paired and working with the freeview channels just yesterday, i have done nothing but try to read the card with xncs and nagra, it turns out i discovered the card to be locked - unlooper coming asap.

Any ideas why the card would become unpaired, given its locked and therefore i cant exactly get into it to change anything??

It siometimes says that even when it is paired mate but if your getting the freeview channels without any error message or blank screen then you should be fine... modd the card and see if you get all channels init.

if it is showing as not paired then either the ird has been entered wrong or the if the card hasnt been modified it could have had all the info wiped by the cable compony

as rawsy said if you have used it on stream it will have been hit with 6D 56 false bk, Led simm card will be a better bet for you, lincsat does them in clasiffied section.

Thanks, i did have a horrible feeling it meant CC had hit the card with fake bk/ird.

As for error message it tells me the smartcard is invalid, so im assuming this confirms the cards been hit? Especially given the card revision used to read B0C and now reads B0D.

I wrote the ird from the card when i first got it, so if it still matches in technical stuff/eng menu then is there just a chance its something else?

The card status used to say waiting or ok, now only ever says not paired.

Error in technical stuff says: error 87 - card never paired.

So to unlock the card, unlooper needed, and to get REAL bk, p'n'p led simm.

Any idea the kind of price i would be looking at for both those items, and perhaps a blank titanium card (for playing with lol)

i have reason to believe my violet pheonix programmer won't work with fun cards, can anyone clarify this for me?

Yes the card will now be all zero's on the ird, thats why its saying not paired, you can still unloop and use it, but you will need a led simm, about £20.
You can get a powersync or a tiny unlooper for £30, i think your right about the violet not doing funs or atmegas, you can buy a cheap fun programmer for £10 instead of unlooper and use a funcard.
Infinity or dynamite plus programmers will do all cards, from about £35, the infinity unlimited £55 uses just usb connection, good for laptops etc that dont have rs232 com port.

Thanks for the heads up!

I will likely get all of the above (fun cards, unlooper, led simm and a cheapo fun card programmer). I only want to use the MOSC card, but having a spare will always help, and of course, starting with a fun card is much easier than MOSC. So either way, i'll get there. Thanks for info
