Default help needed my good people

modem went down due to ip change at vm. at first i did not know this so i had a bit of a mess around and now have screwed it completely i think.

i have got the new ip of this forum and put it into the ambit config tool and wrote it to the modem (i think). but now when i use s a sniffer to get new mac it does nothing and bring nothing up. no matter how long i leave.

any suggestions guys

so your modem is now up and running?

what sniffer program you using?

make sure your pc/laptop is connected to the cable modem not your router when you sniff for macs....

Also check your firewall settings and make sure your firewall is off otherwise it wont find any macs at all.

if you have not got a internet connection you wont be getting any macs mate best to try your mates down the road or if you can remember your old mac try that with the new TFTP Ip's and config files..
