Hi have checked both against a pace box i have that works and they are different can change frequency with remote but not id what do i need to do this one other thing that concerns me is on the top of the diagnostics screen it reads installation pre-hit is this anything to worry about many thanks for all the help.Billyboy

you need to change the net id but you need to take the board out theres a surface mount chip you need to erase it ... and if you are in pure and you blanc it with fffffffs the net will set it self ..... think your gona need to do a bit of reading up

tdubman thats for sure was reading up on the sa 8300 on here last night and there is a lot of confusion even amongst the talanted ones so i think ive got a lot to learn where this ones concerned thought i was getting the gest of it all after getting to grips with vox,star and pace but this is something else.many thanks for the tip will read somemore.

no probs ask what ever is not clear to you mate ... if your not to clever at soldering..get some old stuff to mess with ...go maplins get yourself flux pen and some copper braid
