Mediaportal Update; Video

In response to a few other threads, just a quick update. (sounds like an AA meeting or confession)

It has now been 2 weeks since my last MP disaster. (I deleted the SQL database by mistake) Seems to be stable now and I think It might be finished (ok it will NEVER be finished but you know what I mean)

Skin StreamedMP
Plugins Moving Pictures, MYTvSeries
EPG XMLTV GUI
MCE Remote; makes MP come alive! (use the green button for alternate home screens) Disable all MCE services and use registry hack so Media centre doesnt start!)

Remote TV client = Laptop running Mp 1.0.0.0 standard over 802.11G wireless (cant always stream HD due to bitrate(not fast enough - 802.11N will be ok) but everything else stable

Looking good, I'm using the same skin

Thought I would try out the latest SVN build, latest MP Skin and updates of MP TV Series and Moving pictures.
Final result was Mediaportal not launching, so I had to set most of it up from Scratch

I'm still loving Mediaportal but it's taken over my life, I can't stop tweaking things

You know I know 2 people at work who have said exactly the same thing..Mr S with his dodgy guide and Mr W with his tearing on ITV Hd.....

Showtimes (local cinema info and trailers)
iPiMP (use your iphone / ipod to schedule recordings and use it as a remote control - also lets you do it over the web, works fine in google chrome on my works laptop!!)

I can't keep off the forums and I'm forever tweaking messing around. I'm currently ripping all of my DVD's to my HTPC.

excellent looks good, been using media portal for a while, just came to me I could possibly get cable channels through it and dump the dbox so going to have a look around the forums now
