Default Pace compatability Table???

Hi,

I was thinking if somebody has the time, would they mind compiling a table that includes all the different models of pace boxes and the areas that each box works in eg - tw, ex-cw or pure. also to include the different methods used for each model to obtain the box key information and set the net id.

This table could be used as a quick reference for people unsure about there model pace stb.

Thanks,
Steve.

This has been done before...

Taken from novice angel guide.. (available for download in the stickys)

There are two boxes which are different to others, Firstly there's the DI4001. This box is what we term 'Davic'. The second box that's different is the DI4010. This box is both compatible with the Davic and Docsis systems. All TW regions use the Docsis system, so you don't have to worry about buying a TW Davic box by mistake, because there aren't any!

You will need the novice guide for the n*l franchise map. This lists all areas with a unique 3 digit code, eg 630 is nottingham etc.

If your area starts with 1, 2 or 6, then you are in a Davic area. If your area starts with a 3, 4 or 5 then you are in a Docsis area (ex C&W)

AFAIK the only box that works in both regions is the 4010.
