Default bootp referenced but not included

HI Guys

I have a SB4200 made a max232 cable got it all up and running using windows xp. and telnet with fireball boot server. As soon as the modem boots i press enter and then 2 and then all i get is bootp referenced but not included. i have read the haynes modem guide with the command to enter to bypass this but it wont work any ideas guy's

Hi this is all the detail's from the hyperterminal window
Bootrom version sb4200-0.4.4.0-scm06-nosh

these details also match in internet explorer the modem has never been flashed, it used to be my dad's modem who now lives in greece.

I havent had a chance to flash it with any other firmware. Any help will be great.

try open sesame, might have to google for it.

Hi i got open sesame do i need the max 232 cable atached to as for some reason it wont work on xp but will on vista
i have vista on my laptop but no serial port on it

no, its via ethernet.

make sure you set ip to 192.168.100.10 and dont use a router etc.

Hi thanks for the help

Trying to use open sesame on xp and it wotn open at all just get an error msg use it on vista and it works ok then crashes and closes open sesame it's starting to bug the hell ot of me now any more ideas i know iam being a rite pain here but iam learning slowley.
