Default Which lnb?

Hi, we are going to be renting a house in Portugal for a while which has a sky dish but only a single feed into the house. I had a quote for changing to a quad lnb which was €200 so I've decided to buy everything I need in the UK and do it myself to save €100.

It looks like a standard 1.4m offset dish, which lnb should I get? I've heard Invacom are good and I've looked on a certain auction website and there are two different types on there and I'm not sure which is best or whether I should be getting something else entirely.

We need at least a quad as we will be running sky+ plus two standard boxes to get FTA tv.

Many thanks
G

Invacom or Inverto seem to be popular and perform well.

You have two types of Invacom quad; the LNBf and the C120 LNB. One has the feedhorn integrated the other does not. Normally with dishes of that size it's best to use a feedhorn matched to the dish.
