Sounds like a firewall problem if the file was never sent via tftp

doesn't sound good, maybe bad_ad can help you on this one, we really need to get a new tut up and get people flashing by running haxor from memory, if the flash goes wrong as bad_ad states " it won't ruin the bootloader and brick it"

i've been using option G and then using the GUI on haxor to upload the 1 meg haxor rc6 file to the modem this is the safest way to do it.

you can only use RC6 to do it via the GUI ....so don't use any other version as the other versions had a bug init and that wouldn't work.

have a read of this thread it's about the same thing....

flashing

that one that you have there has the "alex" firmware, vermin disabled the P option using that.....

look for console unlocker, then you will need softjtag to load the original bootloader to the ambit, and then you will get the P option back ready for flashing....

also if you hang fire on flashing there looks like there also may be a better way of flashing the new haxor 1.1 onto them....have a read of this thread.....and look for techwrecks comments

more flashing help

I don't think you are connected to the correct com/port

Have a look in your device manager and see what com/port you are actually using for the modem.

im actually writing a new app that includes console unlocker + bootloader writing (like softjtag)

hence the lack of tutorials at the moment, im just really busy with alot of things all at the same time.
