This issue on people blaming splitters as being the problem for pixaltion problems is a load of rubbish keep putting the blame on splitters when it is not.
Most people are careless and they don't make sure that thier cable connections are secure or they have made a bad wiring job when doing a cable from the splitter i.e having Earth or GND wire touching other wire, it only takes 1 small bit of wire touching the other wire to cause this problem. It is simply down to bad wiring, poor connections OR most likely down to a weak inferior tuner in the box, this doesn't only happen with KV's it is also a problem with Euro's & Stariews as well. Just put a decent attenuator on yer box and yer will have no more pixel probs If anyone thinks I'm wrong on this issue then bring yer box to me flat and I'll put 20 splitters on and 1 attenuator and there will be NO Pixel problems. AJ. ![]() ps these threads that have been posted on Splitters being the problem should be ignored putting it down to Splitters. ![]()

Agree with u mate totally always make sure that all the earth wire threads are rolled and pulled back not even a strand should touch the main wire going into box. A very easy and common mistake. Just a strand can cause pixelating.

I agree to an extent but some problems are caused by faulty/inferior spitters, also the wrong type of splitter.
Infact, ALL splitters are evil!!!!! get them!!!!!!!!!!!! off with their heads!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone else is talking sense on my thread, well put Smurf. Yea OK some people may like what I say and some don't, but I'm only trying to help out on ironing out these stupid unfounded rumors. |

tbh, the only problems I've ever had with splitters are faulty ones.
Normally, it's a combination of bad connections and wiring. (not by me, I may add)

Alot of people do look at splitters but really wiring should always be checked as it is a common mistake alot of people make without realising.

More good honest coments here from Smurf and leeds on splitters, yea I forgot to mention that in a way it may be down to a splitter BUT only if it's a cheapo one that doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
Justget a decent splitter and yer can put 50 of em on and 1 attenuator and yer won't get pixelated problems. Cheers Smurf & leeds for the replies. AJ
