Default Going Motorized

Hello,
Haven't been here for ages but as everyone was so helpful when I set up my first dish I thought I'd get some advice on going motorized.
Could some one could confirm that my TD88 is compatible with a Super Dark Motor?
Would I benefit significantly from an upgrade to a 1m dish?
I'm at 54 27N 6 6W
My field of view is approx 140E to 230W but elevation maybe a problem at the extremes. I assume with my dish size I'm not going to get anything this far out anyway.
I have a couple of Triax TSI 003 0.3db lnb s - again, should I upgrade the lnb too?
I'm planning to use the existing cable but its been up for a couple of years and was only ok spec (rg11 I think), would I benefit from replacing with WF 100
Thanks for any thoughts.

The Td88 performs ok but a 1m would be better for the weaker sats. The Dark motor will be fine on the Triax dish. Best to install WF100 benchmarked cabling and have it done with. You see a noticeable overall signal improvement.

I wouldn't rush out and get a 1m dish since you already have the TD88, you might as well have a play with that first and see where improvement is needed.

The satellites you may be able to see are upto 70 degrees either side of your due south, any more than that, the dish is pointing at the ground, and the satellites cannot be seen.

45 degees either side of south is sufficient for most people, it depends on the view.

Thanks for the replies.
I'll put the motor on my current dish and see how I go.
