I wanna buy a modem pre-cracked but i want a decent price for it, anyone know where can I buy it? Oh and if I buy a modem which Isn't pre-cracked where can I get the Mac Address and how do I put it in?

By "pre-cracked" he didnt mean flashed, he ment "ready to go" with mac address etc.

I DO NOT AND WILL NOT PROVIDE THIS.

Modems I sell are imported (hence not VM equipment) and modified with a 3rd party firmware for DIAGNOSTIC USE ONLY, theft of service is a crime, anyone asking me for a modem configured this way or even hint at using it for this purpose I will refuse to sell anything to at all.

The only reference to VM equipment is in post 4# (where he states the modems are imported and not VM property.

I'm a newbie looking to do some testing on a newly installed VM broadband line. I'd like to find out what I need to buy in order to do that. Whats the best way to get in contact with you?

I've got a SB4101, which I unfortunatly managed to brick (the firmware update seemed to hand for 30 minutes, so I had to pull the plug on it)... rather than mess about with JTAG's and soldering, I wanted to get a pre-modified unit, so that I could do my testing / R&D activity. I'm not fussed about which unit, happy to go with your recommendadtion, but I am ex-C&W (I think), and I want to test speeds of 20Mb+

What do you recommend I do?
