Default co-ax

going to run two new co-ax cables one from dish to receiver and one from aerial to tv what is the best cable and can you use the same cable for both

The most suitable cable to use is wf100 or equivalent, it can be used for terrestrial also.

An equivalent sold is pf100 from screwfix or tlc direct.

You could also diplex the 'aerial' feed onto one of the satellite feeds, known as diplexer then use a diplexed outlet plate other end. Will cost more for the two extra items but a neat option also.

you can take dual signal into receiver ,but it's must have DVB-S & DVB-T function, or use one diseqc switch to test.
usually, i like use satellite dish to watching TV, it's better than terrestrial receiver.
