Questions regarding NTL/Virgin Media modding?

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if you could please answer a few questions about modding NTL/Virgin Media digital boxes.

Any answers will be appreciated.

1. When setting a CAM ID is it best to have a different one set on every MOSC I mod or can I have the same CAM ID set on every MOSC does it make any different?
2. What is best to do have the original set CAM ID from the MOSC or is it best to set a unique one.
3. Is it best to have a CAM ID with mixtures of numbers and letters or just numbers?
4. Should I input the IRD backwards or forwards on a MOSC or doesn’t it make any differents?
5. How do you tell if your IRD or BK is fake?

cam id, it has 2 start with the 2 numbers for your erea, then u can make the rest up ! i think pure starts 24 .
, as for bk's as far as i now m8 6d is false ... (&dont think u can get false ird's ) not sure about ur mosc question .....

IRDs backwards in MOSC cards & the best way to have unique cam id is to use the barcode at the back of the card and change it in to HEX format.

What a paired card means is ,the original card that is matched with the box, the card has an ird and boxkey on it that is individual to each box.
If the subscription is cancelled and the box is left connected with the card in (as you can still get the free channels ) the card can be hit by CC and the boxkey will be corrupted to 6D 56 etc, this is the same for new boxes , a new box needs to be activated first by a hit the same way by CC.
Some boxes like the V+ and 2110 cannot be modded without a paired card (not a public available fix yet ).
You can pair any card to a box if you have the boxkey and ird.

Unfortuantely you are starting out in your quest at exactly the wrong time - the new encryption system will put paid to all cable box moddding in the next few weeks / months.

ohh yes 2 monthts isent bag 4 free, .........& how many data bus lines are on this new card 4 or 8
