Hi guys, im having trouble with this sb4100i, a few years back i had managed to flash one using an rs233, now this time im having trouble in hyperterminal. i try and press 2/enter and hyperterminal continues to boot regardless of what i type so i cant boot over the network. has this modem been blocked from flashing over the original software?

any help appreciated thanks

anyone? its really got me stumped...not sure what to do with this modem lol

could be lock out, could also be flow control settings in hyperterm/what ever.

also make sure your connections are good on the serial lead... if you just have RX connected you will get output but not be able to send anything.

I've got a sb4100i also could you tell me where the solder points are
all the images of solder points i can find are no good so if you could post a pic or pm one to me id appreciate it
