problem with technomate tm-3150d usb - no radio list

Hi,
I just bought a Technomate TM-3150D USB for a friend of mine. So far, so good. The box seems like a decent kit. But I struggle with the radio function. When switching to the radio mode, I can access various radio channels by using the "channel up/down" buttons. But when pressing the OK button to get to the channel list, this list is empty. Also when I try to edit the channel list, there are no radio channels listed.
So far I've tried deleting all radio channels and installing them again - resulting in the same. One can access radio channels by up/down button but nothing is in the channel list, nor can I edit this list.

A more general problem with the box is that it does not seem to be possible to switch to channels directly by keying in the channel number.

The S/W Version of the box is V1.77 (Nov 19 2008), Boot version is 1.21
I have checked the Technomate website for updates, but the links to the update files are not working.

Anyone out there that can help me with this?
