hi bud that modem has taken the Alex update(if you look it also tells you its got the 3.1.6dbootloader!).
you will need to use the `console unlocker` with the `exploit hack` and then softjtag it and put on the 2.1.6d bootloader,if you can do that you should crack it ,cos you have managed to connect to the modem ok with your settings at the mo.

How do i do the console unlocker is that via max323 ?
are they programmes or firmware?
Where to get file etc from?
when you say softtag i take it u mean max323 serial cable?

sorry complete noob atm.

console unlocker consists of the `exploit` hack program it unbricks and opens the modem again then you use a program called `softjtag 3.10` to flash the 2.1.6d back to the modem then you have got the `p` option back again so then you can flash haxo to the modem.

so thats 2 programs `console unlocker` and `softjtag 3.10`
and one file `bootloader 2.1.6d`
yes you use the max 232 and ethernet cable

It aint that hard but people do have problems when using this method and you can brick the modem completely if your not careful ,the only way then is to have the tsop (chip) on the modem lifted and reflashed no mean feat !

Does anyone know if this will work on a 200 as well? it is a different chip so if i get the correct file for the 3348 chip and not the 3349 chip will the process work ? i.e previous version of haxorware. only one way to find out wahooooooo me garden wall gonna get bigger lmao
