Ok i made a cd for the car yesterday using windows media player and it worked fine. Then today i managed to get nero working and as it takes over your p.c i let it burn the same music files to an identical disc.
This disc jumped during several songs and was very poor at playing.

Do different softwares burn different ways??????

Yes it does and also slowing the write speed down helps as well.
