Default HELP! Ten Sports International - EuroBird 9 - Irdeto 2 or Viaccess 3?

Hi,

I am new to the non standard satellite scene and am wanting use a EuroBird 9E with a FireDTV S2 C/CI PCI Receiver via Windows Media Center 7 to receive Ten Sports International.

Obviously, to receive Ten Sports International I would need a EuroBird 9 Dish (80CM?) with a some sort of monoblock. But, the part that is confusing me the most is the encryption method used to access Ten Sports International @ 11843V tp56.

Lyngsat lists both Irdeto 2 and Viaccess 3 as encryption systems:

Eurobird 9 at 9.0°E - LyngSat

What does this mean? Does it use Irdeto 2 or Viaccess as an encryption System?

I am wanting to use a DiabloCam which I currently use with my Sky Satellite FloppyDTV DVB-S2 Card. I also use Zeta Blue Cam with my VirginMedia FloppyDTV DVB-C Card, if that is of any use.

Would I be able to use my Diablo Cam for this one channel? (Don't really care about the rest...nice as extras...but not necessary).

Just to summarise:

1) What Encryption System does Ten Sports Internationa use on EuroBird 9E? Viaccess or Irdeto 2?

2) Can I use a DiabloCam (without a card), to view Ten Sports International via EuroBird 9E is it uses Irdeto 2 & will it Auto Update they keys? (I'm not asking for keys).

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Its simulcypted - it uses both encryptions!

Its only available with an official subscription card.

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it.

Any chance you know how much it would cost to subscribe to Ten Sports International for 1 year, including A EuroBird 9 Installation?

Also, if both Viaccess 3.0 & Irdeto were crackable....would it be possible to use a cam, such as Diablo?

Thanks

TSI is not officially available in the UK. Its part of the Roots Global operation to mainland Europe.

I've tried contacting Globalroots several times now, for a subscription...but don't seem to get a reply. I really want this channel for the cricket.

So if anyone is subscribing to this channel...can you please tell me how much it would cost to subscribe to this channel?

Hopefully, it won't be more than a tenner a month.

Im not really surprised theres no answer to your queries - theres some question over their long term future in Europe due to the recession.......

I havent hear of anyone subbing to RG.

I doubt it will be less than £10 per month,as it is part of the MEGA package offered by Roots Global, and not available as a stand alone channel.
Have you tried phoning them or tried phoning one of the retailers directly?

From what Ive seen on comments over on the DS forum the cricket coverage on Ten Sports has been abysmal so far:

"does anyone in the world know whats happening with Ten Sports on 9e its all over the place, most of the time broadcasting blank"

Ten Sports has been pulled off Eurobird 9 along with all the other Roots Global channels....

Apparently, Roots Global will not be returning to 9E so you can forget any ideas of watching Ten Sports.
