Smile Locate from Central Florida Sat. Hot Bird 8

I live in Central Florida.I have a Fortec Star DSS.I want to know how to pick up the signal of the satellite Hot Bird 8 @13 deg. East.Can i pick it up with this receiver and where do i have to direct the dish.Please help!

Its below the horizon from your perspective. Same as we can't pick up dish network etc because the earth blocks line of sight between dish and satellite.

Actually if you have a big dish(think 5.2metre)or a 4.2 if you live on the irish coast then 61.5west is Doable Just

What are you hoping for as the hotbirds cary allsorts of random channels
that might be available elsewhere
