Parental lock

Hi guys. I have a modded pace 4000 and I wish to lock some channels. However, I don't know the PIN number that is currently in use to do this. Is there any way I could reset the PIN so then I can set up the parental lock? Thanks in advance guys! kimi.

Yup but first areu in pure area coz if u r not that means u gana have to set the net ID to using funcard method.

to reset the PIN= open the box look for RED jumper (its close to the battery) remove it wait for a minute put it back on and go to Engineers menu. you can change it from there.

PS: only do this if u r in pure area or have programer funcard IRD & BK of ur box.

Thanks for that mate. I am in a pure NTHell area and I've got the BK and IRD. I also have a programmer and funcard. How do I access the engineer's menu? Is it by pressing the up and down channel buttons on the box when it's rebooting? Also, will I need to reprogram the funcard after I've done pulled the red jumper?

No m8, u r one of the lucky ones coz u dont have to do the funcard method. Now once u have pulled the red jumper just put the box back together and power up while holding the Up and Down channels and dont let go till u see DIAG then u r in engineers menu.
Just locate the PIN number area and you will see its now changed to 0000 now change it to what ever u like press Services at the front of the box.

that should be it, reboot the box and try ur new pin number.

I know this might be a silly question but should the box be powered on when you pull the red jumper?

i norm pull it, power on and off after 5 seconds
replace jumper

then go to em, set my pin and then use a funcard to set id

Lol! That happened to my bro last time when we were trying to fix the stuck in tune problem! Anyway, there was no need to pull the red jumper as I managed to guess the original PIN. It was 1111 so I was lucky with my second guess! Thanks for all your help mate.
