Question Channel 40 parental lock???

Hi guys. For some reason I have channel 40 on my modded pace 4000. This channel doesn't exist on my unmodded Vermin box. Why is this? Also, when I try to lock the channel, it says that this channel can't be locked. Is there anyway around this? Can I delete this channel or lock it somehow. All of my other channels lock apart from this one. Any help will be greatly appreciated guys! Thanks in advance! Kimi.

Right. I've been told that I can reprogram the box with updated Vermin software for a pure NTHell area - this should delete all 2-digit channels. Does anyone have any idea how I can do this?

Okay, I've found out that to get rid of the 2-digit channels the box needs to brought to the relevant area, updated there and then brought back to my area. What does this mean and how do I do this??? The box is an original Telepest pace and I'm in a pure NTHell area - I think that's what's causing the 2-digit channels to appear in the first place...

It's definitely channel 40 mate. I have channels 40-48. They are all adult channels. I've managed to lock 41-48 but it doesn't allow me to lock channel 40 for some reason. I'm not in the house just now but I'll post up a picture later as proof! Lol!

It's definitely a pace 4000. Even within the guide menu, when you go to tv guide, then all channels, the first channels listed are 40-48. PS - thanks for getting back to me mate. I appreciate your help in this matter.

My camera's playing up so I can't post a picture mate but believe me, I have 2-digit channels. They are all adult channels. I have channel 400 which is the filmflex stuff so its definitely not that. Trust me on this one mate...

Apparently, I have to programme the box with TW files and take it to a TW area to allow it to update there. This will take away the 2-digit channels. Then, if I programme the card for a pure area and allow it to update in a pure area, it will be working fine with no 2-digit channels! Has anyone ever heard of this before???

Okay guys. I've found out that in order to get rid of the 2-digit channels, I need to change my current net ID to a TW net ID. I then need to hook the box up in a TW area in order to allow it to update to new Vermin software. Can someone please give me advice on how to do this? Also, how will I know that the box has been updated to the new software? Would it just be a matter of checking the channels to see if they no longer exist? Thanks in advance guys! Kimi.
